It was wonderful to come together, cook together, laugh together, sing our national anthem, and eat together. It was a difficult choice, but the warehouse crew came out on top with the most delicious potjie, prepared by an all-female team. We also had a prize for best dressed, which went to one of our Zulu Warriors. Well done to everyone and thank you to one of our clients for being the potjie kos judge. It was truly a lekker Heritage Day. We had a lot of fun activities, such as trampolines, jungle gyms, a car track, and a jumping castle. The children hardly stopped moving. From boerie rolls to sweets and ice-cream, it was just a fun-filled day. The venue wanted to do its part for Mandela Day and provided some items at no charge - which was incredible. Thank you to everyone involved. We look forward to doing MORE in our community.
